Yolanda Clatworthy

Simon Fraser University

Yolanda leads the Mitigating Wildfire Initiative based out of the Centre for Dialogue at SFU. She uses dialogue to bring together and build coalitions of actors to transform our collective relationship with fire. She grew up rurally,  has lived and worked across six continents, and is grateful to now call the unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) home. She holds a graduate degree in climate governance from the University of Oxford, and thrives connecting people to place, to each other, and towards advancing more equitable, healthy, and vibrant futures.
