First Nations’ Emergency Services
Dave is a graduate and proud alumnus of the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology (Natural Resource Technology, Grad ’96). He is married to DeShanna, and they are the proud parents of their daughter Skylar. He is a member of the Lil’Wat First Nation and living on his wife’s traditional Squamish Nation territory. He has been with FNESS for almost 2 years and is the Cultural and Prescribed Fire Supervisor. Previously, he spent almost 25 years in the BCWS, in a variety of roles, starting on a Unit Crew. In his spare time, he loves to hunt, fish, gather, and do other cultural and traditional activities.
